Bill Vasko - Maxx Fastpitch Director
Head Coach, Frostburg State University
Bill is the owner and director of Maxx Fastpitch. He is also currently the head softball coach at Frostburg State University, a Division II school in Frostburg, Maryland. Bill previously served as an assistant softball coach at Division I UMass Lowell from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, he served as an assistant softball coach at Division I Quinnipiac University during the 2013-14 season. Bill also served as the head softball coach at Division II Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia from 2008 to 2011.
Prior to his time at Wheeling Jesuit, Bill was the Athletic Director and Co-Head Softball Coach at Buckeye Trail High School in Ohio from 2002-2008. Bill's other coaching experience includes stints at Muskingum University (1999-2002) where he served as the assistant baseball coach and strength & conditioning coordinator. Bill held the same position at Kenyon College (1995-98) where he was also an assistant football coach. He also served as an assistant football coach at Denison University (1999), Otterbein College (1998), and Ohio Wesleyan University (1994). He started his coaching career as an undergraduate assistant football coach at his alma mater, The Ohio State University (1992-93).
